This is a problem since I work from home (like many people do now). The first service by Cox - told to replace my modem (Netgear CM1200), second service visit tech checked all wires and reburied them (I had a new modem: Motorola MB8600), third visit tech checked the connection at the street - found it wasn't as it should have been and fixed it.
