Glenfield 30a vs marlin 336.

I have a Glenfield 30A that I would like to use to make a 32 spl AI on. Is this the same strenghth as the 336? I know it may not be practical but have always wanted to do it long before hearing other people talking about it.

I suspect production of this model ceased long before Remington became involved. Model 30AS was also manufactured in 1983 as a Glenfield rifle. Hope this is interesting, if not helpful. Like they said $200 is a far price for one in excellent condition. $2600, must have been looking a something else. 100% blue book of gun values is $220. That means unfired in the original box.

The Glenfield 30A was produced from around 1971/1972 to about 1981/1982 when it became the Marlin Mod 30AS. They are a quality Marlin made under the Glenfield name.
