Hi! I had a $749 bill from nantera ("reduced" from $8000 after my insurance kicked in nearly $475!). Well, I managed to get the bill reduced to $149 and wanted to be sure that all the other bumpers know that you CAN negotiate your bill. I called the # on the back of the bill and was eventually given the # for billing which is 214.446.9162. In March, one reviewer claimed that they received two “fraudulent bills” from Natera. Instead of costing $100, the reviewer allegedly received a bill for $1,590, or $249 if paid within 30 days. Later on, Natera tried to double this bill after the blood had to be redrawn, according to the reviewer.

I just wanted to let you all know how the bill went for natera. Before the test results I was told I could self pay at $249 or insurance would cover but deductible would be $656. I got a letter from insurance saying they didn’t cover it and a bill from natera today saying the bill was $4571. I called and explained what I was offered before.
