Ruger security 9 problems.

Hi all, New to this forum but hope I can get some feedback on a problem I'm having with my Security 9. Got this about 4 months ago and I really like the pistol. Probably put about 900 rounds thru it so far. Last time I was at the range everytime I inserted a full mag the slide went forward and the gun went into battery.The average shooter will have no problem dropping a mag without adjusting their grip.Some of the problems faced by poor people include lack of proper clothing to protect them from harsh weather conditions, lack of resources to purchase a balanced diet meal or provi...Security 9 light strike issue resolved, finally! Love the Ruger Security 9, but the last two times at the range, the gun failed to hold open on last round, with both magazines. I havent looked at it since, but was wondering if anyone had any similar issues.

My Security 9 has had four FTEs across approximately 310 rounds since new. The first two were classic stovepipes and easily cleared. The last two were very odd in that the spent casing stayed in the barrel’s chamber requiring me to use a small wooden dowel to pry the casing out; not good for a home defense/carry gun!
