There's a fair bit of traffic about this in the last few days on the FFXIV tech support forum - the common theory is that it's an issue between Comcast and one of SE's local providers in the US. If that is the case, I'm not sure why it would only have popped up in the last few days though.Keyboard lag. Download speed has nothing to do with rubber banding. Rubber banding happens when you drop a bunch of packets for a few seconds and the game has to catch up once your connection stabilizes. It most likely IS on your end, either with your ISP having issues or your connection in some way, even if it's your modem crapping out.

Fixed it, Go into computer sound settings and change default audio device. Im using Arctis 7 Steelseries headset and it was set to Chat instead of Game. Once i changed that everything went back to normal, no audio distortions and im in dx11. For me I only get lag/audio stuttering when I'm in EW raids and dungeons.

Now I noticed whenever I open a specific site i watch my series on, I get a HUGE lag. even if I close the website, the lag remains there. i cant click anything, it goes as slow as a snail and it stutters alot. to fix i need to reboot FFXIV to make it work normally again.

The past week or so while playing FFXIV my FPS will suddenly drop very low to 9-11 fps and I will experience massive lag. It happens at all random times sometimes I am in dungeons, raid, eureka or just sitting in a main city. I have checked my CPU and GPU while it has happened and everything is normal there.
