I use 20-25lb Trilene Big Game. It's inexpensive and works great for a spinner harness. The fish don't seem to mind either. I use them on inland lakes, no Great Lakes trolling for me. If I used Fluorocarbon I'd go broke. If you really want to use it, I would just tie shorter harnesses and use an FC leader.
