How do I turn off the security system to my car listed above? It won't allow my car to start. Battery was drained, jumped off. Car started for a minute and quit. Haven't been able to start it again. Even put a new battery in the car. We can't get the security system turned off.I am going to respond to my own question to share what I have learned today. There are 2 things that need to be reset after disconnecting or replacing the battery. 1. Each window has to be reset. To accomplish this, start the vehicle and roll each window down and hold for 1 second. Should work normal after that 2.check alternator out put must be between 13- 16 volts at charging. You either have bad terminal connections on your battery or the anti-theft system has a system or sencor problem .
