Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.

I have had the slip light coming on and off for years. Finally, the ABS light came on as well. I took it to Nissan to have the code scanned (free), and he told me that a pressure sensor was bad and that the engine wiring harness was bad related to the passenger wheel speed sensor. Intermittent abs, vdc and slip lights after hitting a bump suggests loose or poor connections somewhere in the wheel speed sensor circuit. I'd check all the connectors from the FR (front right) wheel speed sensor back to where they end.

The simplest thing to do is to take it back to the dealer. My 2008 Xterra had the VDC/slip light on when it was delivered. Just took it back the next day and they fixed it.
