That is so much faster that the best way to level up is to exclusively use a shotgun and go for 3x or 4x multi-hits until you reach level 5. Summary. Look at the table above. Stand still and hold your aim to get an accuracy buff. Multi-hits with shotguns are exponentially more rewarding than single shots (literally).Multi-Hit is a sandbox option: Character > Weapon Multi-hit. Aim outline is a game setting: Options > Cursor > Aim Outline > "Any Weapon". If you play Apocalypse, Multi-Hit is disabled by default. Stat dependant on too of weapon dependant makes more sense and provides more incentive besides “I can use this weapon on one enemy better”. With multi hit you also get reduced exp with weapons. The setting assumes you're always hitting the maximum number of targets with a multi hit weapon. So if a crowbar only hits 2 enemies, you get 2/3 the normal exp because it could hit 3. But durability is still calculated assuming maximum target struck. Some weapons gain the ability to hit multiple zombies. Rolling pins, pans and saucepans can hit two enemies whereas two handed weapons like the baseball bat, axes and crowbar can hit up to three. Some weapons such as hammers and knives do not benefit from multi hit when performing an attack.🧟 All info about our Project Zomboid Server Settings can be found in our GPORTAL Wiki From Server Settings to Backups Click here!

Multi hit was fine for build 40 and below (kinda), but with the combat variety added to build 41, it is quite simply an outdated mechanic. If it was added as a level 7 weapon skill for long weapons, axes, and spears I could accept this, but this is actually a very difficult skill to use in a combat situation.

I have considered turning it on but when i did in the past it seemed like overkill, Movies and shows I've watched have had multiple zombies hit with certain weapons (machetes, Katana, Etc). But i want to here everyone else's thoughts on the changeable setting! if your objective is realism or max difficulty then yes, it makes the game kinda easy. but if you want to have fun then no, there's nothing wrong with multi-hit. it's all about what you want to do, no one can tell you what you should and shouldn't do. I don’t think knives can multi hit, even with multi hit enabled. I could be wrong about that, though. But you are right, multi hit only really makes sense with a big, two-handed weapon, and even that is questionable. Skulls and flesh would really slow your weapon down, even if you are swinging for the fences.Got cornered in the hardware parking lot and we will need to fight to get out. I suppose this would be another good time to experiment with the multi hit fun...Regular humans don't swing weapons like the PZ PCs do. Multi-hit simulates the ability of a real person to have follow-through and rebound on their swings. If attack animations were updated to allow for smooth continuous attacks, then multi-hit would be an easy-mode DPS buff.Hammer is the best one. The lower damage over the other short blunts doesn't matter for number of "hits to kill", what matters is that it weights 1kg, so it uses less endurance per hit than the ones that weight 1.5kg. Less endurance used equals more zombies killed before you have to rest.Hello, I've been curious how many of you use the weapon multi-hit option in game? That's all I have on this topic so far.

e.g. can push multiple zombies, can hit maybe 2 zombies with long blunt weapons, can slice through multiple with machetes/katanas, and maybe multihit with non-shotgun weapons This I hate that you can't push more than one zeds without multi hit and that's what make the game toohard/too easy with that option. That is why I'm running it.

To me zomboid is all about realism. And if you swing a baseball bat towards 3 people and they're in reach of it, they're gonna get skull bashed. So yeah, the default is multi hit on.The good news is the game has heaps of acceptable (and necessary) breaks from reality, cabbages take about six months to grow and building any structure takes weeks to months, so multi-hit is completely acceptable. You may not be able to hit multiple targets effectively in real life, but you can most definitely do it.Short blunts are abundant and gives you a very strong start to the game if you pick construction worker. However they lack the damage or the range of axes and long blunts. Spears are a gimmick, but they work well with low strength - fitness characters due to one hit kill. A crowbar is a two-handed blunt weapon and tool.. Usage. The Crowbar is one of the best choices for a melee weapon in Project Zomboid. While it doesn't have outstanding damage or range, its usefulness lies in its utility in breaking down barricades and flooring, and its extremely high durability.. The crowbar can be attached to the character's back …

Weapon. The fishing rod can hit up to 2 enemies at a time (with multi-hit enabled), dealing a maximum of 0.3 damage to enemies (unless a critical hit) from up to 1.55 tiles away at an attack speed of 1.3. Unlike crafted fishing rod, the fishing rod without line can still be used as a weapon after the line breaks.

There is a mod for that, it's called multihit limiter. It allows you to toggle what weapons, the strength and fitness you need and the weapon skill needed to activate multi hit. To be fair, short 1-handed weapons aren't that easy to multi-hit, it's actually very hard. I think that's realistic considering their size.7 Nightstick. A police officer's main melee weapon, nightsticks are a pretty good find in the world of Project Zomboid. They can be dropped by zombie policemen, or found inside their patrol cars and police stations. The best part about the nightstick is the fact that it loses durability a lot more slowly than many of the other short blunt weapons.Hello, I've been curious how many of you use the weapon multi-hit option in game? Only long and heavy two-handed weapons or blades coupled with a high strength level. 2 zombies max and no multi push. I feel pushing should be limited to 1 zombie because it looks silly to pushing 3 zombies down with one arm while holding a weapon. 2.
