In an MK85 using T7 or blackpowder, I have found Knight's breech plug grease to work very well. I use teflon tape in Elite/Extreme shooting BH209. FWIW, I get better accuracy out of a MK85 using T7 than when I installed the 209 conversion kit and used BH209. Plus the blow back seemed to be less using the #11 cap.Note: The Muzzleloader 209 Bighorn Breech plug is not compatible with our Orange Disc ignition system. My experience has been that this takes hundreds of shots with Pyrodex or 777, and BlackHorn209 seems to take a while too. I change my breech plug about once a year.
