Dropped it off at the Chevy dealer yesterday and they have notified me that it was a bad #1 Nox Sensor. Problem is they don't have it in stock and are on backorder with no date in stock.The assembly uses two NOx sensors: the first sensor (referred to as NOx sensor 1) is located near the turbo downpipe and measures engine out NOx. The second sensor (referred to as NOx sensor 2) measures NOx levels exiting the SCR catalyst. One before and one after the scr. It compares these to see if the def and scr are doing the job. I saw in my scan tool an Autel, a nox sensor calibration test. So it may not be plug and play. The high and low range limits of each sensor was pretty wide on the scan tool. There are a couple vids on replacing nox 1 on the l5p with nothing other than reseting the cel. You'd be good to go with what you have. Worst case maybe a regen.
