Build 1: Melee - This build is simplistic, but very gratifying. Max out Blackout, Phase Strike, and put 1 point into Venom. (Go 4/5 PS without Moxxi.) You already have Hit and Run. Your melee will hit for around 2000 on flesh. Let Radiance remove the shield from your target, then clock 'em. They're all really strong, and every class is equally viable. Raw DPS at level 69 however, Brick with the right build is the best, followed by Lillith. HOWEVER: DON'T play BL1 like BL2. BL1 is way more fun "Gun wise." All the manufacturers are great, (barring Eridian) all elements are viable, there aren't as many stupid gimmicks.
