As others said, the location would be where your horse is showing at the crossroads. Having said that, I have not much luck on that location after so many load/save after 72 hours to allow respawn at multiple recommend times. But the spot which really helped me find panther is the Lakay near Lagras. The crossroads top of Y in Lakay.
