This type of infection occurs when you don't change your bandages often enough; Clean and rebandage it and stay on top of changing your bandages. Whiskey or a bottle of disinfectant can be used, you can either pour it straight on the wound or apply it to bandages to reduce to the risk of wound infection / get rid of a wound infection. There's two types of infection, the zombie infection which there is no escape from, you will get ill and die within a day or two.

All other infections are unaffected.
