Thermostat is not that old (about a year) so I replaced the PCV valve which was toast (and quite a pain in the arse). At idle or even low speeds (45-50) it’s fine. But as speed increases the temp goes up.

A few times I would hear the bubbling and sounds it makes when overheating, no antifreeze was pouring out or filling my reservoir.I replaced it because I had a constant overheating problem whenever idling, which in Houston traffic happens quite frequently.
