Hello my Skyrim friends! I'm as happy as a sweet roll today because I was able to figure out a solution to the one of the many bugs that can halt progress and the achievement to Lost to the Ages . I was doing some achievement completions when I decided to finish LTTA. The only problem was that I had already picked up one of the Aetherium shards.If you pick up a shard and it does not update with a quest stage then something was already wrong with the quest. Reading the book would have done nothing basically. Not entirely sure what causes this quest to glitch but it seems that if you find a shard or read the book soon after you leave Helgen the quest will be doable.The book ends with a challenge for the adventurer: "But nothing like the Aetherium Forge described in the inscriptions has ever been found within the borders of Skyrim.
