The 6-cylinders were usually used pretty hard and it not uncommon for the rear differential and housing to have been replaced sometime in the past. Since you cannot drive the tractor, be prepared for the possibility that the ring gear and pinion may need replacing.The issue that came up was the amount of current the steering unit used when turning the wheel a lot. I have a Mitsubishi MT2201 with a loader and never have felt the steering to be very hard unless setting still with a full loader. Mine is 2wd.
