Lbg builds mhr.
LBG is a bit harder. Most of the useful LBGs are available toward endgame. You can work on the Chain Blitz (ore) line as it builds into a good sticky lbg toward endgame. Beyond that, you can try the Jyura Bullet for Spread 2 playstyle. I don't like leveling with elemental weapons and wouldn't recommend most other LBG playstyles for leveling.

IMO sticky is the only real way to build support LBG because sticky is technically a status ammo type (which is the entire reason to choose LBG over SnS for support) and because it doesn't really require much to get it going meaning you lose less damage overall compared to other ammo types. It's not high dps because it's sticky but I'm guessing ...The aerial switch axe style (ZSD spam) is very viable but still runs rapid morph as you still do the grounded combo when the monster is down. Bowgun specific skills are also recommended, such as Pierce Up, Spread Up, and Normal/Rapid Up. Skills like Spare Shot and Steadiness can also help with ammo retention and recoil.

Rpf Spread 2 loses to Spread 3 even with rapid fire up. An unfortunate nerf. Also its not even the best spread 2 LBG, that'll be rampage.
