Time-wise, the fastest way is to boil in two cooking pots on a fireplace in a house. The best way to cook food is inside a cooking pot. Fill it with water, you boil whatever's inside. Then the water is safe to drink. Otherwise you need fat to cook them, just like with a frying pan. Works the same way in a cooking pot.
