For a couple weeks my visual voicemail had stopped working on my Samsung S22 Ultra. I had called AT&T. They reset my voicemail and I set it up again, but that didn't help. Here is the solution that actually worked for me. Go to Settings > Apps > Visual Voicemail. Click Force stop. (This was important!) Then click on Storage. Turn on App icon badges for the individual app. Tap Notification categories and then set the different switches to your preferences for the app's available notifications, at least one must be enabled. Next, tap the switch next to App icon badges at the bottom of the screen. This will ensure they are turned on for the specific app. What finally worked, as I said earlier, was to go to settings>apps>Voicemail. Then go to force quit. Make sure to hold on to force quit long enough to stop the app. Then, select storage>then clear cache.
