After my carb on my '48 was rebuilt I only had about half of the throttle to work with. Ignoring, with care, the advice not to mess with the "handy dandy carb tweakums," I followed the suggested carb adjustments given many times on here. It worked and I got an easy starting, full use of throttle from one end to the other, good powered tractor.
