You will probably not see anything on CUE about a software update as due to some problems Cadillac is not sending a lot of over the air software update. It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. Then ensure the steering wheel controls communicate with the CUE.

It is a long shot but I believe CUE is based on the hard drive. It may be possible that the hard drive is dying.
