Exam cut off at 85 questions. QUESTION. Today I took NCLEX and it cut off at 85 questions. I felt like I wasn't sure with 80% of my answers and a lot of the questions I was deciding between two answers. However, I took it strategically and for SATAs I didn't check a box if I was unsure of the answer so I'd save a deduction on those questions.
