Turn key and nothing happens but lights work.
Usually new ignition switch, will not have the key insert with it, you insert that, into the new switch. You might need a new key insert, for your switch, that wiggling, kinda indicates that. This could also be a combination of two or three things, one failure leading or causing another.

No starter or nothing. make sure the shift indicator shows to be in park. 06's are bad about that. You can rule out the key FOB. If it can't read the FOB, it will start, then shut off after 5 secs or less. Cables or the Key Cylinder itself is your best bet. Shift indicator shows in park Forrest.

The saftey switch is green and it's under the clutch pedal. With the clutch pushed it it touches it. To reset it simply pull the plunger out as far as possible. 1) The engine seems perfect when running. (no warning lights on dash) 2) The battery is fully charged. 3) The starter motor, when it engages, works perfectly. I suspect an electronic problem, perhaps to do with the immobiliser or with the key fob (although it looks ok) or god forbid within the ECU.This happens a lot when deleted trucks run a tune that isn't set up for deletes. It can also happen if any of the sensors in the exhaust are messed up. The next time it happens disconnect your batteries for 20ish min and see if that allows it to start up. Or let it sit for a couple hours to let the pcm restart.
